Only two days left to get accredited…
23 to 28 April 2018
Exhibition Centre – Paris Nord-Villepinte
9 AM to 6 PM
INTERMAT Paris runs from 23 to 28 April. More than 1400 exhibitors on site with some 200,000 visitors expected from 167 countries. This year's show is being held in an encouraging climate for the construction sector: 33,000 jobs were created in 2017 (INSEE) and more than 13,600 companies (an increase of 9.6%) were created between December and February (CERC), hinting at a sustainable economic recovery. Exhibitors will be unveiling their new ranges of machinery, equipment and solutions for works sites, Public Works projects and the Construction sector. Innovation will be the underlying theme of this year's edition.
THE ESSENTIALS
With a new organisational structure, INTERMAT will be shining a spotlight on equipment, solutions and techniques for the sector, optimising the time that visitors spend at the exhibition and showcasing innovation. The exhibition is now divided up into 4 hubs of expertise: Earthmoving & Demolition; Roads, Materials Industries & Foundations; Construction & Concrete Sector; Lifting, Handling & Transport.
There will be three themed villages dedicated to technological innovation in the sector, livening up the exhibition area: to look at issues to do with digital technologies in the Construction and Public works sector and provide a diversified offering, INTERMAT Paris will be supporting technological innovation via a number of special dedicated areas. The Start-up by EUROVIA village, the Building Smart village, and the Demolition & Recycling village will all be featured this year.
INTERMAT Demo: INTERMAT Paris is the only international exhibition with a special outside area for demonstrations where manufacturers can showcase their equipment and machinery in action – exhibitors have access to it throughout the duration of the event
Rental Day: the digital transition is increasingly in evidence in the leasing sector. To discuss these changes and outline the ways in which the sector looks set to develop, INTERMAT Paris will be staging a special day – INTERMAT RENTAL DAY – which will feature an original international round-table discussion focusing on "Being a leasing company in 10 years’ time" (Thursday 26 April).
Greater Paris: the Greater Paris Company will be at INTERMAT Paris to present Europe's largest infrastructure and regional planning project: the future metro system for the Greater Paris initiative. In particular, it will have a 3-D digital mock-up of Greater Paris at its stand – a major initiative.
The World of Concrete Europe: the second World of Concrete Europe forum will be held at this year's INTERMAT Paris. The WOC Europe forum provides manufacturers, key influencers and users with an overview of the whole sector, with insights into the latest trends in concrete technology. It features exhibition and demonstration areas, as well as a series of dedicated conferences.
The Business Meeting service: to help them make the most of their time at the exhibition, visitors and journalists can set up appointments with exhibitors beforehand via this digital contact platform. Click HERE.
