Doka is a world leader in developing, manufacturing and distributing formwork technology for use in all fields of the construction sector.
What are your growth perspectives and your innovation drivers to respond to the wide range of projects arising in France and all over the world?
To enhance our growth, we are constantly working on the development of our formwork solutions. That is, we are adapting our products, tools and services to the newly arising market needs in France but also internationally. Our technical innovations therefore focus on increased safety, efficiency and easy handling. Digitization has opened up completely new ways for more efficiency in the entire construction process: from planning through construction and on to maintenance and ultimately demolition and recycling of materials. One example how digitization already increases productivity on site is Concremote, which determines the optimum time for stripping the formwork.
What are the trends in your field market?
After a decade-long recession, the market is now recovering in our sector, due to large-scale construction projects like the Grand Paris Express or the 2024 Olympics. Now the companies are facing new challenges to provide enough human resources and material. These requirements have a direct impact on partners like Doka, as they increase the demand for more advanced project management know-how on construction sites.
What are the main highlights planned at INTERMAT Paris 2018?
In addition to our latest innovations in our formwork systems, we will also show how we will enter into the digital age. From BIM, 3D to augmented reality – we are embracing these new technologies to optimize construction methods and the construction process.
What do you expect to get out of your participation at INTERMAT Paris 2018?
As one of the most important fairs of the construction sector, Intermat is known for showcasing the construction trends of tomorrow. We will present our complete solutions to civil engineering professionals. And we will demonstrate our capacity for innovation and the added value of our solutions. We will also benefit in terms of networking. Meeting current and potential clients enhances our understanding of the construction sector and gives us a fresh impetus for future developments.
